Prevalence of primary hyperaldosteronism as secondary hypertension; our experience

Background: Primary hyperaldosteronism is one of the major causes of secondary hypertension, with a prevalence rate of about 4–10% in the hypertensive population. Increased secretion of aldosterone usually comes from adrenal adenoma or their hyperplasia (uni or bilateral).
